Since the quantity and frequency of materials and equipment used for reprocessing of semi-critical devices are higher than the other types of devices, therefore, fueling the segment growth.

This segment includes devices that pierce body tissues; therefore, they are required to be sterilized before packaging and most of them are disposable devices.
